The goose at bridge 24 was particularly active protecting it's young and had been aggrevated by several kayakers when Sarah got to it. Sarah went for a swim but the goose continued to attack with the agression of a parent about to loose a baby. Simon being a man familiar with live stock carried straight on leaving Sarah to defend herself - somthing she was doing with a great deal of success. Once Sarah was back in her boat we all paddled with her until John passed us at which point she left me standing. Considering the time spent in the water her 6th was exceptional.
Simon also had a good paddle - its about time I stiched him up too but he is a junior so some morals must apply.
John S needs a mention, getting to grips with the new boat.
The goose at bridge 24 needs a name - please make any suggestion, and an identity picture would be usefull if somebody could post one. There will be a prize for best name and picture!
